“Nowhere Home” Film Screening & Discussion

Dear All,
The Oxford Children’s Rights Network would like to warmly invite you to a screening of the film “Nowhere Home” on Thursday, January 22nd in Seminar Room 2, at Queen Elizabeth House (Department of International Development), from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
The film documents the journeys of unaccompanied children seeking asylum in Norway who are granted temporary residence permits, but are deported to their countries of origin once they turn 18 years old and are no longer permitted to reside in the country.
The film will be followed by a short discussion, with tea and biscuits, concerning the rights provisions for unaccompanied minors seeking asylum in the European Union and international rights provisions for refugee children.
